My interview is coming up at another hospital and since this is my first interview as an experienced nurse I was wondering if you just take the amount that is offered or if there is a negotiating process. Any tips in general for this interview on how I can make a good impression and how I can get the best offer would be great. This is an IMCU position at a larger level one trauma center with cross training for the ICU. Thanks in advance!

If it is union they may not be room for negotiation. Possibly what spot in the clinical ladder you might start at depending on experience. At my union facility we all know what each other makes it is right there in the contract.
Not sure how it would be at a non union place.
Yes this is a union hospital.
