I am in my last semester in LPN school and I want to volunteer somewhere but not sure were and how I know it will look great on my resume but do anyone have suggestions that can help me, I live in Massachusetts, I know I have great hospitals around but most do not hire lpns. Thanks

Check out the local hospitals for volunteer opportunities even if they don't hire LPNs. It's a way to gain a little more related experience and to network. I know a couple of people who've been hired on as unit techs and patient care techs with a CNA background when the hospitals they work at usually don't hire CNAs simply because both individuals had volunteered at the hospitals before applying (about a year for one, 5 years for the other), so they were well known by the departments and hiring managers that ultimately hired them. Don't volunteer just to get a job though, because it is not guaranteed, volunteer because it is good experience that will hopefully open doors longer term.
