Had my first maternity test today and won't find out till Saturday the results.
One question I can't seem to forget:
It asked about therapeutic intervention for newborn. I narrowed it down to two answers:
Put a cap on the newborn or Give Vitamin K injection?
What is the correct answer?
Thanks!!!

Need more info, because the answer depends on what the question was specifically asking about...
It was asking for which therapeutic intervention would you do for newborn right after birth. Most of my classmates picked putting on a cap because of heat loss, but I put Vitamin K as the answer. I just hope i didn't change my answer b/c I think Vitamin K was the answer.

Immediately after birth, you would dry the infant and put on a cap to prevent heat loss. Skin to skin contact with mom is also good for thermo-regulation, or wrapping the baby, if mom is not able to hold him.
Vit. K can safely be delayed until after stabilization and bonding have taken place.
