UVA CNL 2013 Cohort

Hi everyone!

I have applied to UVA's CNL program for May 2013 entrance. I had my interview this past week and it went well. Now comes the hardest part.. waiting until December 20 to find out! Is anyone else out there in the same boat? I am from out of state, anyone else? :)

Soulshine: It stopped letting me be able to comment back to your messages! The option is not there anymore... I think that was a trial run and I still have to reach the "15 wall posts."

But I definitely will let you know! I also looked at ratemyprofessor.com and he looked by far the best! A challenge is always good. :) So I hope that his class is still available by the time I am able to register (being a new student). Having someone show me around would be wonderful as I don't know anyone! Thanks :D

YOu have done your homework! Yes, I looked him up there too and ended up in his class! I know he will let you in even if full, so don't settle for less then the best!! I have lived here for 6 years, not a townie yet, but still well-versed in Cvillian culture!!! I would love to show you around!! I just looked at my calendar and its says November 14th, wait, not December 20th:) Oh the wait, Oh the wait!! What field of nursing do you want to go in?

All letters of decision are posted to the Online application page by December 20. Some applicants might be extended offers before December 15."

That is from the FAQ about the program.. where did you see December 14th?

Great! Thanks for the info about the class! :) I would make sure to get in somehow. And thank you thank you! It would be nice to have a connection before moving lol. As for nursing, I am not positive which area I want to go into yet... but I am interested in hospice, Alzheimer's, and critical care. Kind of different ends of the spectrum from each other, haha. What about you?

I was making a sorry attempt at a joke about it being November 14th and not December 20th ..LOL...as in I hate the waiting, its not fair:)

I am really interested in psychiatric nursing but I think it will all come back to how the rotations go and where I see the best fit. The ED really intrigues me and it would be nice to step out of the volunteer role their and get in the action:)

Lol apparently I am pretty gullable. I was so excited for a minute haha. I agree, I will definitely know more about the right fit for me once things are started. :)

OK applicants - I have an update on when decisions will be announced.

I will be posting the decisions letters to the online application on Friday, December 21. You will be able to log in to the application and see the decision letter after 12:01am Eastern time on Saturday the 22nd.
