Virginia Mason Residency 2020/2021

Hello there,

Has anyone gone through the hiring process at Virginia Mason for New Grads? I just applied and was wondering if anyone else has too.

Hi! 

How long did it take to hear back from when you applied? And what units did you apply to?

I submitted on 9/21 and heard back 11/3. You apply to their new grad residency and they will ask you what units you are interested in during the interview. You get an email list.

I applied October 13th and heard back on November 3rd.

I got an interview but no offer! Not really interested in working in outpatient units so I’ll apply next time.

Late reply, but I received an offer for the CCU on November 14th. My start date is 2/26. I also have a friend from my program who also is starting at the same time as me, she'll be in the Pulmonary/Thoracic Unit. 

Did anyone else receive/accept offers?

What units does Virginia Mason start new grads on? I'm trying to find an ED or ICU residency.

Has anyone heard anything about whether there are still positions open for residency? I submitted an application back in April and kind of gave up on it, but just looking to check in.

I just got an email on the 7th from HR asking what units I am interested in because they are working on setting up interviews in the next couple weeks. Hopefully you hear from them soon!
