I am wondering the same thing. I am thinking about doing the live course but wondering if it is worth it.

I took it, but don't take my test until Wed. However, all of my classmates that took (live) Hurst have passed so far.

I am taking the online version now. I love it but have not taken my NCLEX yet. They recently changed part of it. They used to have one Mock NCLEX test for 125 questions that you could take but now have something they call Q review that replaces the Mock NCLEX.
Hurst updated it to meet the 2010 passing standards. The Q review questions are application and higher as deemed by independent educators and actually include the former MOCK NCLEX questions. The mock exam was just 125 questions. You now have access to the Q review which will allow you to take up to 6 tests for a total of 750 questions.

I took the Hurst live review and liked it. The lady was able to explain things in a simple way and made a lot of things click from nursing school, also they give you little things to remember important information which helped a lot.
I don't take my NCLEX until July 8th, so we will see if it helped :)

I attended a live 4-day Hurst review nearly three months ago and passed NCLEX-RN on my first attempt with the minimum of 75 questions. The Hurst review was an indispensable, important part of my NCLEX preparation because it provided a thorough review of all of the content that you will possibly need to pass NCLEX. While taking my test, I could hear Marlene Hurst's voice in the back of my head saying phrases such as "More volume, more pressure," "Less volume, less pressure," "Pain never killed anyone," and "What would the NCLEX Lady do?"
If anyone needs a comprehensive review of nursing content, I definitely recommend the Hurst Review.
Thanks a lot to everyone who have replied to my question. god bless you. lets all keep in touch and share views and experience.

i loved the hurst review and i took the online 90 day offer which was great because I could always go back and the lectures are in video format which are great! to me it was almost like being in the classroom. I did it last year and passed the nclex on my first try with 75 questions! i also read the saunders comprehensive review. if you do get hurst make sure you review all of the questions and the extra info they give you it helped me on at least 12 questions on nclex !

I think Hurst is great! I took Kaplan the first time and failed. I used Hurst for my second attempt and passed! I agree with what everyone else on here says about the helpful tips Marlene gives! Her thick, southern accent really sticks in your head, lol! I also used the La Charity book and thought it was great as well.
im reading that book now....so i guess i will get hurst now thx
