504 for Vertigo?

Anyone seen this before?  We have a 6th grade student with frequent vertigo and sees a neurologist- diagnosed with complex migraine.  She has missed several days of school this year and I am thinking she needs some accommodations in place.  If you have a student with Vertigo I wold love to hear what your accommodations are.

So... before I'd write a 504 I would get doctor's orders to see what, if anything, may be done.  She may have a prescription Rx that you could administer and let her lie down for 20 minutes or whatever, or there may be a prodrome where if she caught it in time she could come lie down with ice pack....

Interesting. I'm going to google complex migraine now!

Interestingly, it has never "started" at school.  She always just doesn't come to school and then that was the reason given the next day...
