VCU DNAP 2018 Cohort

Published

All right, y'all. I know you're out there. Who has applied for the 2018 DNAP/CRNA 2018 cohort? The waiting game begins.

I applied and am also waiting..

Me too :(. Their website changed on 3/15 to say they would reach out on 4/1

Well I can stop checking my application status constantly lol

I am still waiting. Has anyone heard anything yet?

Per VCU's website, invitations to interview will be sent some time in April. Interviews will be held in April and May. Acceptance letters will be sent in June.

I saw that as well. Can't wait to hear something! Good luck everybody!

So is everyone that applied local? What's everyone's background? I applied as well. The wait is nerve racking...lol

Has anyone heard that they call for interviews? I know the site says letters are sent out, but I've heard from previous people that interviewed that said they were called instead.

I'm not a fan of the waiting either! I'm from Northern Virginia. 3 years ER experience with my CEN, 9 months CCU at level 1 and just transitioned to SICU at level 2 with my CCRN. Background was EMS for 4 years before I decided to be more manly and became a nurse :) Good luck everyone!

Awesome! I am in Spotsylvania, VA currently work MRICU at VCU and been traveling locally to expand my experience, did CSICU at University of Marlyand Medical Center to be able to get my CSC. Hoping I get in like everyone else, waiting a whole year to apply again would be painful. Good luck everyone!

Also waiting (not so patiently anymore)í ½í¸¬í ½í¸!! I thought they let applicants know if they were invited for an interview by April 1, is that right? Good luck everyone!
