Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Winter 2025 Track

Has anyone applied to Vanderbilt Hospital for the Winter 2025 NRP Cohort and heard anything? Thanks!

I just heard back about the trauma step down unit. I'm supposed to get an email within the hour with the financial offer.
 

good news is that they said the deadline is usually one week to accept, but she said if you're waiting to hear back from any other units that you are not held to that deadline and can instead wait until I hear back from the other unit(s).

I didn't get accepted for trauma step down but that's OK.

Congrats! How long did it take to hear back from the Trauma Stepdown Unit, from the time you interviewed?

Aw, I'm sorry. How do you know that? And have you heard anything from step down yet? 

Do you know anything about the trauma SDU at all? I'm moving from quite far so I am hoping to get more info but it is hard to find anything online! I get the vibe it is going to be a rough unit haha.

I interviewed on Wednesday last week, so basically within a week they called me. From what neuro ICU told me today it sounds like the timeline for them is similar, maybe a little longer than a week.

I interviewed on Wednesday last week, so basically within a week they called me. From what neuro ICU told me today it sounds like the timeline for them is similar, maybe a little longer than a week. 

I emailed the recruiter. I haven't heard anything from trauma ICU.

Well, I wouldn't lose hope in that just yet. They are very likely still making calls.

Thanks for letting me know! I know that they offer a moving incentive, and bonus but I'm sure that's for all units. If you go to the residency page, I know says a little bit about each unit!
