Which VA? There's three major VAMCs (Portland, Roseburg, White City) and a smattering of CBOCs in the more rural areas.

Portland (or any VAMC for that matter).

Portland and Roseburg are both hospitals so there's more traditional acute care kind of nursing there. White City is an outpatient clinic and an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation -- you either work managing chronic illness or doing sick call/pill line in the inpatient part, very low stress but not particularly engaging or challenging.
