VA Palo Alto Valor Program 2021

I recently applied to the valor program and got a message that my application has been sent to the hiring manager for Palo Alto and Menlo Park. It has been a week since I have received that email and there are still interviews and the upcoming program should start in June, to my knowledge. Has anyone received any news or any updates (I.e., interview invites)? Any information will help, thanks.

Hello!

I also received the same notice at the beginning of the month and haven't heard anything yet. My application was also sent to both hiring managers. I have been checking my email constantly... as well as my phone! :) I would also appreciate it if anyone knows the status of applications or if they have already received a phone call/interview.

Hi everyone! I also applied and got a notice of referral to the hiring managers on May 3. I had an interview scheduled that same week. As of now it's almost been two weeks and I have not heard from them, but I will keep you guys updated! Does anyone happen to know if they are still interviewing or have moved on with picked applicants?

@Nurseabel12 Thank you so much for the info that is super helpful. Hopefully we will get some more info soon ? I haven't heard anything else about interviews or if they chose applicants already.

Hi everyone! I also applied to the VALOR program and had my interview on May 6th. I spoke with the nurse recruiter last Friday (5/21) and she said "VALOR selections have been submitted to HR. If you are selected for the program you will receive a call from HR in the next week or so." 

It's been 1 week and I haven't heard anything from HR. Has anyone been selected and/or did anyone get any update regarding their status from the VA?

Hi, I was told the same thing when I contacted the recruiters, but have not heard anything yet about my status either. I hope we find out soon though. As far as I know the program starts June 7. So by next week at the latest I feel like we should know something. The anticipation is really getting to me LOL

Does anyone on this thread know if VA employees at Palo Alto get paid time and a half after 8 hours?
