VA license endorsing to CA license

Hi everyone,

I know you guys have probably seen this type of questions a lot regarding reciprocity of license. But in my case, I am a 2013 foreign grad, took my Hawaii NCLEX-RN then endorsed it with no problem to VA, I am now working as an RN with 2 years of experience. I decided to try travel nursing. I am currently on my first travel assignment with Johns Hopkins, but trying to relocate to CA after my 13 week contract to be closer to my family. I've read so many threads regarding CA BRN rejecting foreign grads to sit for their NCLEX due to deficiencies.

Now my problem is this:

Will the CA BRN reject my endorsement if I have deficiencies even though I am currently enrolled at University of Southern California for my Masters-FNP? I guess what I'm trying to say is I had CGFNS re-evaluate my credits and submitted them to USC department of Nursing and I did not have any problems with deficiencies. How is a Professional and Academic CES different in terms of determining if I have a deficiency or not?

CA make their own decisions based on information you submit and what your transcripts show. This is the same regardless on initial application or endorsing.
