Hi !

I have decided to make this new forum because I just applied to the University of West Florida FNP Online Program and thought this would be a good way for all prospects to communicate as we go through the admission process. I know we must all have some questions, and I am hoping we can all ease each other through this process.

If you run into this forum and are currently in the program please feel free to give us an inside scoop :). Any info will be greatly appreciated. I know this is a fairly new program, so I hope to hear from you soon!!

I'm in the process of applying. Good luck to you 🙂

I'm currently in the process of applying as well for the fall! Anyone know what the acceptance rate is like? Or heard from former/current students how the program is?

Does anyone know when we’ll hear about acceptance? Good luck to all!

Good luck to all. I just started in May for the Summer start. I can’t give you much advice yet. But to expect to be busy! I’m taking adv. pharm right now and it’s kicking my butt.

I spoke to an advisor and was told we won't know until Mid July. Good luck!

Thank you!! Good luck to you as well! 🙂

Just applied to the program! Mid July feels like such a long way to know whether we get accepted or not. Oh well.

It really does! The wait is the worst part LOL

I just started the program May 11 and all I can say it's amazing how straight forward the classes are. Currently in Evidence Based Practice and Advanced Pharm which is semester 3 and scheduled to take Adv Health Assess, Foundations of Nrg Sci, and Pop Health Promo and Mgt. I am taking the classes out of order due to classes that are available each semester.

You will find out if you are accepted 2 weeks after the deadline. I applied in Jan, and found out March 12. The application process was simple and straight forward and the enrollment recruiter was awesome at guiding me on what's next to submit for the FNP program. Afterwards, you will receive an email of stating you are accepted with paperwork to sign to accept the seat for the FNP program and then to schedule an appt with your academic advisor who will automatically sign you up for classes.

Attached is the plan of study. Start looking for your preceptors as soon as you are in and registered for classes.

Again Good Luck getting and keep trying. This was my 4th and final attempt for a state university. ^_^ You will get there when the time is right.

Is the GRE/GMAT required? On the MSN-FNP page, it's not mentioned, but on the admission page, it says submit test scores.

Nope no GRE, but I think it's because of COVID19. I didn't have to take any GRE for my application in Feb. My application fee was waived also. I worked with Holly, the enrollment officer who switch with Meghan. They were very nice and guiding you to get whatever is needed to get the application completed. I do know I had to create a CV for my application.

I just filled out the "Ready to Get Started" section and a few days later an enrollment recruiter contacted me.
