UTMB Summer 2020

Thought I would start a thread for UTMB Summer 2020 I am taking my TEAS tomorrow!

Ugh that sucks you scored so differently the second time. I would recommend just retaking it if you don't get in this time! Just take time to really study and retain the information so you can score above the 60's. I downloaded the ATI TEAS Pocket Prep a couple weeks ago and it's been helping me a lot with the science section.

Do you know when the deadline for Spring 2021 is?

Yeah, I mean that’s the best thing I can do! People have said they’ve tried at least three times before being admitted. It’s just so competitive. The website says the application for spring 2021 opens in February and closes in April.

Yes true I personally know people that didn't get in until their second or third time applying. Don't give up!!! Where else do you plan on applying?

This is the only program I applied for this cycle. I’ll be finishing the last of my prereqs next semester. If I don’t get in, I’m going to apply to both BSN and ADN programs. I’d prefer to go to a fast-track BSN program but I’ll go where I’m accepted. Some of the other programs I’m planning to apply to are SHSU, TWU, UH, WGU, San Jac, Alvin CC, maybe COM, UTHealth, HCC. And some others that I can’t think of off the top of my head.

What about you?

Anyone know when their offices close? I assume they will tell us tomorrow or Wednesday if they are telling us before thanksgiving.

Did anyone on the waitlist get an email from Mrs.Botello saying required information is needed in order to start the program? Does this mean I am off the waitlist or does everyone receive this?

I got that email but my application still says complete

they make everyone complete the new student stuff since its so time consuming and you could get off of the waitlist at any time even right before the program starts

I got that email too I was about to come on here to ask the same thing. Guess it’s a general email for everyone on the waitlist ??‍♀️

Hey guys,

I’ve been waitlisted but this morning I got an email saying : Good Morning waitlisted applicants as we Are finalizing admissions we need to submit information to the board of nursing should you be removed. “
It required basic info name/bday/address etc.

anyone else ?
