Thought I would start a thread for UTMB Summer 2020 I am taking my TEAS tomorrow!

Congrats!! You should be able to log into mystar by the enrollment communications they sent out. If that does not work you can call them and ask. ideally mystar that was used to check before acceptance you need to call to get a new password. you should get like an enrollment communication #4 or 5 and it will explain what you need to do.

Somebody said we should hear something by Thanksgiving so hopefully that’s the case. I just want to know already because my confidence has been a roller coaster in this waiting process.

Seeing people who have already been waitlisted/rejected who have better scores and GPA’s than I do makes me feel discouraged. My stats really aren’t that great but I worked hard on my personal statement in an attempt to make up for it.

Hey sorry for the late reply, but I got a 76 I believe. I got A's and B's on all the sections except for Science, which I got a 55. ? I've been studying a lot though, and I plan on retaking it in late January.

I wonder if they will take more people off of the waitlist on the next wave?

That’s strange. I got a 75 in the science section the first time and a 55 the second time. I really don’t know how that variation exists but it does. I was irritated seeing that. I felt like I got dealt a different set of questions though the second time in that section. I asked one of the admission counselors if I should send my second exam since I had a better overall score but she told me they didn’t want anything below a 60 in either of the sections so sending it would make me ineligible? (Something like that)

If I don’t get admitted this time, I’m just going to retake. My individual scores are not balanced. And I feel like that’s what’s going to hold me back if anything.

I got my rejection email today after calling Mrs. Botello to ask about my status. Good luck everybody else!

Damn, I have a feeling that’ll happen to me if I call about my status too haha. Oh well, the decision’s already been made I guess. Just waiting for them to tell me what they’ve already decided. Don’t give up! Did you apply to any other programs?
