I called this morning and they said that they're still doing interviews so it's going to take a while to hear back

For others who also interviewed on November 10th and were specifically told 3-4 weeks, what are your plans at the end of the 4 weeks? I'm not sure if I should call to ask about it or assume I've been waitlisted and start on the fall application? Hoping for good news but getting so anxious waiting. Has anyone gotten interviews or acceptances the past few days?

I've already started on applications again just in case. I'm not going to send anything in yet, but I don't want to fall behind or it end up being past deadlines and I didn't get accepted, you know?

I called the other day about my application and was told that they had to stop looking at summer applications because they had more spots for spring open up and they had to deal with those. I am trying to stay hopeful, even though it has almost been four weeks :/

They always say 3-4 weeks but a lot of times it takes way longer. I had a friend who got accepted last summer but didn't hear until February and she wasn't on the waitlist or anything. They are terrible when it comes to telling people an estimated time to hear something. We just have to stay hopeful

I think they list us by our TEAS score and admit based on those.

Has anyone asked/know when the next round of email acceptances are going to be sent out?

Hi everyone! This is my first time commenting on here..

I have been reading this forum since my interview on Oct 30 so that makes it almost 6 weeks in waiting.

I'd like to mention that my TEAS score was 87 my science GPA a 4.0 and I cant remember my exact overall GPA but it is higher than a 3.2. I also have 3 years of experience working as a dialysis tech. I called earlier about my status but they said I would have to wait a little longer as they are still going through applications and they are not doing it by interview order. I don't think they're sorting through this by TEAS score either but maybe by when you submitted the supplemental app.

On a side note I have a friend who currently attends UTMB nursing and he joked about how if you got an interview you are pretty much in unless (to put it in kinder words) they thought you weren't a pleasant person to begin with

I didn't think that would apply to me but jeez..

When i interviewed November 20th my interviewer said that my grades and test score are what got me into that chair (interview) and my job was to impress her. Then after the interview she said that she was going to recommend me into the program. So I call my interviewer this week and she reviewed my file and said i scored high in my interview, but my acceptance is on hold because they're not admitting anyone with my low of a teas score. Its so inconsistent.

I just hope we hear back soon because if not, that means I have to start doing apps for many nursing programs for Fall 2018 lol

Then after the interview she said that she was going to recommend me into the program. So I call my interviewer this week and she reviewed my file and said i scored high in my interview, but my acceptance is on hold because they're not admitting anyone with my low of a teas score. Like they aren't admitting anyone at all with your low of a teas score? Or they just haven't started yet?
