UTMB Summer 2018

I just wanted to start a group for those applying to UTMB nursing summer 2018 start! I didn't see a thread and figured there was some of us who could use one!

I have already taken my teas and will be submitting my application soon! This would be a great place for us to compare timelines and answer any questions I'm sure we all have! I look forward to hearing from other applicants.

Apparently they're only accepting people with a certain score on their teas. I called and was told my acceptance is on hold because my teas score (79) is too low.

Hmm, I wonder if gpa and personal statements mean anything more in those cases where the scores are below a certain point. Who did you talk to?

Did they say what the minimum TEAS score you need is? I interviewed on the 20th as well and am still waiting to hear something back

I know this is totally random but was anyone else wondering why they tell some groups at interviews different amounts of time to hear back?

No she just said that they haven't started accepting people with my low of teas score (79)

I believe they review applications in order of when we turned in our supplemental applications, not necessarily the interview date.

Oh ok. I turned my supplemental in on September 15th but interviewed November 10th and haven't heard back :/ so I hope thats how they are doing it!
