I just wanted to start a group for those applying to UTMB nursing summer 2018 start! I didn't see a thread and figured there was some of us who could use one!

I have already taken my teas and will be submitting my application soon! This would be a great place for us to compare timelines and answer any questions I'm sure we all have! I look forward to hearing from other applicants.

Anybody know how long it takes to hear back if you were already interviewed and waitlisted for the spring semester?

It's 4-6 weeks after you're interviewed. I've heard of people being accepted in Feb. for the summer term

I thought if you interviewed already then you don't have to go through another interview?

Since you'd interviewed already, it'd say like mid Dec. but I have no clue, I'd call!

If you have interviewed in the past then your interview is only reusable for one other semester if that makes sense. For instance, I interviewed last fall and got put on the waitlist. Reapplied for the spring and they used my fall interview and I was placed on the waitlist again. Reapplied for summer and had to do a completely new interview.

To be honest, don't get discouraged just yet, it could be they are still just sorting through apps. I certainly didn't expect to hear as soon as I did. Hang in there!
