UTMB Summer 2018

I just wanted to start a group for those applying to UTMB nursing summer 2018 start! I didn't see a thread and figured there was some of us who could use one!

I have already taken my teas and will be submitting my application soon! This would be a great place for us to compare timelines and answer any questions I'm sure we all have! I look forward to hearing from other applicants.

My stats are

TEAS 88

Overall 3.7

Science 3.2

I'll graduate with a BA this December and I'm also a d1 student athlete. I'll finish my prerequisites (stats and science elective) next semester.

So I realized this entire time I was looking at Student Admission then Application Status and saw no change but you're actually suppose to be going to accept admission!! thats where I saw that I had been accepted. No I have't receieved a email yet. You usually see a change in your mystar and then you get the email.

First time writing here. Just got accepted as well, but I am pleased to inform you that I will decline because I accepted the admission into UTHSC for Spring 2018.

My stats: TEAS 86. GPA 3.89. Science GPA 3.75. Interviewed on October 23rd. No Bachelor, no work experience, no volunteer. Thanks and good luck to everyone!

I may be making the same decision! I was also accept into UTHealth, but my time in galveston was so enjoyable! Also, the town is smaller and less crowded which I prefer.

I agree with you. Galveston is my dream city, it's so beautiful and less congested. I would choose UTMB if i was instead admitted for Spring 2018. I will choose the one where I will begin earlier because UTMB starts in Summer. I can't afford to lose a semester.

I GOT IN!!! Teas: 85 Overall GPA: 3.7 -no prior bachelor or work experience!!!!!!!!

I GOT IN TOO! :) Interviewed on 10/30

85 TEAS, Honestly not sure about my gpa (I applied to so many schools and they all took different classes) but somewhere in the 3.5 overall and 3.2 in science. I've worked at Memorial Hermann as an exec assistant for over 3 years.

Congrats y'all! Can't wait to meet everyone and get started!!

Just mystar, I still haven't received an email...also is anybody looking for roomates...are you guys planning on living off campus etc.?
