UTMB Spring 2013

to the people who got accepted! do u mind sharing ur gpa and teas scores? I'm so scared now because I haven't recieved anything yet. how did yall find out?

I found out I was waitlisted and accepted through mailed letters. The only e-mail I got from them was the invitation for an interview. My gpa was pretty low, only a 3.1 overall and 3.2 science. I got a 74% on my TEAS, but I think what really helped me was my personal statement and the fact that I'm a CNA and volunteered at a hospital. Don't get discouraged if you think your grades are too low, UTMB looks past grades so try to get some experience like volunteering or CNA/MA, and write a really good personal statement!

i called the nursing admissions lady today, and she said the people getting accepted now are people who were waitlisted. they said they have NOT even looked at the spring 2013 applications yet! so lets all still stay calm and hope for the best! but congrats to those who already got accepted!

I too got the email this morning. I've been so caught up in summer classes that I wasn't even thinking about the UTMB app and then when I saw the email I was excited and nervous at the same time. Now i'm going to start counting down the days (& weeks) until I hear back from them lol.

Woah!!!! i got mine yesterday also....now I'm just focusing on passing this class...summer school is almost over and we all get to play the waiting game once again....but good luck to everyone taking classes this summer...hopefully we'll all see each other come Spring 2013!!!!!
