I've applied for UTMB's RN-BSN program back in Oct. 2015 when the application process 1st started. They sent me an email saying that my courses didn't match up and that I needed to fix them and resubmit my application. Once I did that, my application status has said verified. Maybe I'm just a nervous wreck but i find myself checking the website every day just to see if the status has changed. I know for this year, they changed the deadline from January 15th to March 1st. My best friend took the program a couple of years ago and said that everything came through the mail, but one of my classmates said that I would receive an email stating my acceptance status. Between stalking my mailman and constantly refreshing my inbox,I'm getting a little discouraged. Am I the only one feeling like this or has anyone heard anything if y'all have applied?

Hey! I applied to the program 2/21/16 and have not heard since I activated MyStar. I called the week before spring break and was told that notifications would be sent out 1-2 weeks after spring break, but nothing has happened. I check MyStar and my email probably 3-6 times a day:dead: lol. Like honestly, they should let me know if I was accepted or not. I can not deal with the stress anymore!!
And also, I've been checking AllNurses for posts about this program and could not find any recent threads..whats up with that?! But glad I found this post!

I received my acceptance letter Feb 10, 2016. The letter was made Feb 1, 2016. I think I recieved mine earlier bc i was already accepted into the program, bc i was supposed to start last August, but didnt end up taking chemisty so they rolled my acceptance to start this August. I'm just wondering how the classes are going to go? I noticed for Semester I (Fall) it had 6 classes listed on their website under "curriculum plan." Are we taking all 6 at the same time or are they split up in 8 week sessions, like 3 the first 8 weeks and the other 3 the 2nd 8 weeks? Bc taking 6 classes all at the same time, is insane. I work 2 jobs so yeah lol. If anyone has any insight from friends who have recently taken this program would be greatly appreciated.
So I found out last month that there were too many applicants and that I've been waitlisted for the Fall 2016 semester, So i may apply for the Fall 2017 semester this fall.
