UTMB FALL 2014

I would like to start a thread for UTMB FALL 2014 since there I cannot find one. I am in the process of applying and this is the only school I am applying to. Right now, I just trying to finish my personal statement before I can submit it. I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time.So, how is everyone else doing?

Congratulations to everyone who's gotten accepted so far!!! :) For anyone waiting on an admission decision or an interview, good luck!!! I'm still waiting on an interview myself.

A question though for anyone who's gotten accepted WITHOUT an interview- Did you apply for the honors scholarship? I have a friend who also got accepted without an interview and she told me she did not apply for the honors scholarship even though she was invited to. So I thought maybe that MIGHT be a reason why some acceptances may be delayed. Just wondering!

I received an email with my new mystar username. It is used to check our to do list, financial aid, etc. I was told during my interview that the admissions committee meets on Mondays, for whatever it's worth. Good luck ladies!

I just accepted and paid my deposit. I haven't received an email with a new username yet though. Question, on your regular myStar did your status change back to a green circle after you accepted admission? Mine just did and it's freaking me out! lol.

Stupid question but does that mean they'll send out letters on Mondays? I'm getting nervous. :( I had my interview last week.

I just recieved the Congrats email and as I was reading it, it sounded like there was supposed to be an attatchment with it? Like I wanted to look at the immunizations we need but couldn't and it stated I would receive another email with more information but never received it, Anyone else the same way?

How long after you accepted your position did it take to get the email? I'm (impatiently) waiting for mine to arrive. I received a payment confirmation email, but nothing else yet. :/

Cassidy or Amy.Kathryn - have either of you tried calling or emailing? I emailed yesterday without a response, but I did get a call a few minutes ago asking my interview date and who I interviewed with. Maybe some paperwork got lost along the way? I would email or call someone in case they never received your interview paperwork and might not have been able to fully review your applications.

I just got mine this morning about 830 am, and I paid last night. I think there are a lot of technical difficulties still going on. Maybe that is why you have not received it. I am sure you will! no worries! :)

Yes, I imagine they have quite a bit going on. I'm just anxious to see what all I need to get completed before the program starts.
