I think you have a good chance of getting in. I'm currently in their program; I started this semester. Good luck!

I applied to the FNP program for Summer 2016. 1.5 years in L and D, and 1 year in the ambulatory setting. GPA 3.4. Does anyone know when they normally begin to send out acceptance letters?? Fingers crossed!
I'm hoping they start sending out acceptance notices by the end of February or beginning of March but who knows

turnforthenurse Do you remember when they sent out notifications about admission for you?
Deadline for me I think was October 18th...I got my offer from UTHSC around Thanksgiving time. After I accepted I got my official acceptance letter maybe a week letter.
There are a lot of to do's before you can register for classes. Make sure you're UTD on all of your immunizations or have documented titers. That was a headache for me. Once you upload your immunization information it takes up to 2 weeks for the school to look at it and verify it. You also need a documented HCV titer. Long story short it took me about a month after my official acceptance before I could even enroll in classes.
Good luck to all of you!

Hi does anyone heard anything on interview or acceptance? 2 of my friends that applied for ACNP already interviewed this February.
I went to the info session and if you applied for FNP program, there will be no interviews
Thanks for this info. One of my friend already got acceptance for ACNP soon after her interview. I am guessing theres less applicants for acute care hence the reason they get accepted earlier. I wonder how many strudents they accept for FNP. I know its a more popular track/program so theres more applicants.
I tried calling the school a couple times today to ask when admission decisions would be made and how many they take in their FNP class. Both times I called nobody answered and I was sent to voicemail. Has anybody else tried to call?

I spoke to someone in the school of nursing and she said that applicants will be notified in April.
