UTHEALTH Summer 2020

Hello all,

I am wanting to apply to UTHEALTH for Summer 2020 and fall 2019. I will be coming from out of state. This semester I am taking Stats and texas government and taking the HESI. In the Spring, I will take Mirco lab. I will have about a 3.2-3.3 overall GPA by the time I apply. Has anyone gotten accepted with this GPA before?

For those accepted does it say until when you get to decide to accept or decline their offer?

This is what mine looked like. I didn’t see anything that mentioned how long one had to accept or decline.

Most likely yes because that happened for the Spring 2020 admissions

I think I remember you got 10days or 2 weeks tops.

I hope so! do you know how long they waited after the first round to share the second round of acceptances?

I want to say they came in for the next couple of days for about a week to a week and a half until wait- listed notifications were given. Then denials will be sent out last on the day that’s posted on the website.

Oh OK thanks! That’s good to hear because I didn’t know UTHealth had a waitlist

Mine said “conditionally admit” instead of the way yours was written, did anyone else have that? I’m guessing it’s probably because I have a class in progress still and maybe you don’t?

This happened to me as well as a friend of mine! I think it’s because we still have classes in progress this semester.

Yea I don’t have any classes in progress. I finished my prereqs in fall.
