Has anyone taken this class? I am not sure if I was to take Texas Governement or College Algebra 1302. I still have Care of vulnerable pop/lifespan to take but I just finished taking Holistic nursing 3425 that was a killer and I am waiting to take a class that wont burn me out.

Well I just finished POLS 2311, it was very doable and I took it with Legacy of the Family. You really just had to listen to lectures, take weekly quizzes, weekly discussions and a final. I kept a B the whole way through and bombed the final and ended with a C. I'm about to take College Algebra but with no other class, because I heard it is very difficult.

Texas Gov't is an easy class. You can handle it.
MATH 1302 was easy for me. It was hard for others. It's math - you know if it comes easily to you or not. If you're in the "not" category, there's nothing wrong with taking it by itself. There's a lot of videos to watch and you must be able to really pay attention, especially if algebra isn't your forte, as many lessons build on prior ones.
Thanks! For the info Twindad85 I have a question in regards to the final for texs gov. Was it comprehensive? Also is there a lot of reading?
ILOVEbees thanks for the feedback I hate Math I will be sure to take it by itself.
You feedback has helped me a lot on which class I should take I work fulltime and I wanted a mini break after being tortured with Holistic nursing.
Texas Govt has 5 modules and each module has a test worth 12.5% of grade. No comp final.
10% of grade is discussion.
12.5% of grade is a data analysis project that is easy.
15% of grade is a paper you have to do. It may vary from class to class, but ours was we had to invent a candidate for governor and talk about how we were going to get him elected. Easy.

I never took MATH 1302 so I can't tell you about it.
Texas government was a lot of fun. Do not forget to listen to all of the lectures (they're interspersed throughout the class notes).
