UT University of Tennesee Hospital/know anything?

So I was thinking about applying to University of TN hospital. Anyone have anything to report? Is it a good place to work at? Is it difficult to get a job here? I haven't applied yet. Was planning on applying, just wanted some thoughts.

I was browsing and found a lot of info. I want to move to Knox area but OMG I didn't realize how low the pay is. That is a huge and I mean a huge pay cut just to even move to Tenn. I live in Florida, I make $34 an hour and I have been an RN for 5 months. Cost of living is more but wow!!!! Is the low pay really worth living in TN??

The pay is low and is not getting any better. I'm personally very frustrated with the pay issues right now. We keep getting more asked of us and less given to us. I would probably consider moving to a higher pay area but my husband wants to stay in East TN. Pay is West TN is much better but a worse area to live.

Thanks Mommy teleRN! My husband are really needing a new scenery. It's a very hard decision. Why is the pay so low in Ten? Nurses work there butts off! I understand they say cost of living is less. But I have browsed housing and it's not that much less as I expected. Tired of the beaches and warmth.... I want to look out my window every day and see a mountain, I want a farm. Like I said we need a change. But I have to figure out if financially it's worth it.
