I'm submitting my application tomorrow! I live in Fort Worth

My stats are:

Reading Comprehension- 94

Grammar- 84

Vocabulary & Genernal Knowledge- 90

Math- 96

Science GPA- 3.4

Cumulative GPA- 3.42

Previous Bachelor's and working on getting partnered (fingers crossed!)

I'm worried that my GPA's aren't high enough, so I'm going to have to work my butt off to get A's in the pre-nursing courses!

I'm in Dr. Urban's Patho class this summer and I'm taking Pharm in the Fall.

The syllabus for Dr. Urban's class is up now. It's a little overwhelming, but I'm excited to get going with the program!

For my Declaratory Order I followed the same procedure the Borad requires, the difference being, I checked for personal interest. To my understanding, if one has a positive background, UTA will require a Declaratory Order. I do not want to sit out a semester due to not having an "okay" from the board. It cost me about $20.

I applied for the Spring 2017 program too! Does anyone know when we should start hearing whether we got accepted or not? I am currently enrolled in Pharmacology and am loving it so far. All I have left to take is Pathophysiology and I plan on taking that next semester. I am partnered with a Baylor hospital and have a previous bachelors degree from UTA so most of my credits come from there. Hope everyone is having a great summer so far!

To my understanding we won't hear about acceptance until October/November.

I finally got my emails that both of my applications were complete from my advisor. My Admission GPA is 3.656 and My Science GPA is 4.0. I don't have any considerations so I'm a little worried about that. I hope my GPA numbers are good enough to get me in because I'm all out of classes I need to take.

I have also gotten an email from my counselor saying my application is complete. Does anyone know anything about the ranking process? I believe I read somewhere that we should check our clutter folder for an email. Anyone know what to be expecting or when?

I have this info on another thread but it's not very active so I'm reposting:

I submitted my application for the Spring 2017 online BSN back in May. I begin Pharm and Patho Sept 5th .

Here are my stats: 3.5 Science GPA 3.4 overall GPA. HESI: 90% Reading/comp, 90% Grammar, 98% Vocabulary, 88% Math, total score was a 366/400 or 91.50% I have 3 considerations ( 2 prior degrees, BS in Healthcare Admin and an M.B.A., 30 lower pre req hours at UTA and 12 of the 16 science) I'm also prior military with a healthcare rating. My understanding, for the online is that 500 apply and around 130 are accepted. Does anyone have any other statistics?

UTA AO-BSN program is very competitive; in response to your question, I think it depends on the area that you live in. They have more clinical sites in the Dallas area than they do in Houston and San Antonio. Each clinical site only has 10 students.

The Dallas area has 10-12 clinical sites, Houston has 2-3, and San Antonio has 1. I put the range because I've seen it change from Fall to Spring.

You stats look good and if you are in the Dallas area, your chances are better of course.

I think that's a little late! I thought they were supposed to be coming in sometime this month? Correct me if I'm wrong :)

I bought a HESI study book and did the math section 3 times until I felt comfortable.. it's not hard math at all.. it's actually simple but it's things I haven't used since elementary and middle school.. lots of conversions but I had a really neat little thing to remember them.. go to you tube and looks up metric conversion "King Henry Died By Drinking Chocolate Milk" with is "K(ilo), H(ecto) D(eka) B (gram, meter, liter), D(eci), C(enti), M(illi).. makes conversions a snap..the rest is adding and multiplying/dividing fractions, simple algebra etc.. so very easy.. just not something we remember that much after middle school.
