USNS Comfort Depoloyment

Has anyone here ever been deployed on the USNS Comfort or Mercy? I will be headed out in April and am looking to see if anyone has any tips, tricks, recommendations or interesting stories. I'll be part of the Continuing Promise 2015 team; I'm very excited, but nervous because I've never been on a ship before, or given care outside of a traditional medical facility.

I've never been on a hospital ship before either (I'm also signed up for 2015!) but I've done plenty of overseas missions and as long as you are optimistic, enthusiastic and game for whatever comes along, you'll be fine! I'll be interested to hear of your experiences - my only hesitation is that I won't have enough contact with the community we are serving.
