USF MSN CNL non nurse spring 2018

Published

Hello everyone. I was searching for a thread but could not find one so I am starting this discussion topic for USF MSN non nurse spring 2018 applications.

Lets all discuss our stats like GPA, volunteer experience, etc. I have a decent prerequisite GPA right now. I have registered for Micro and psychology and will be taking in fall. My undertgrad GPA is 3.15 in computer applications (not that good). After working in customer service I was no longer interested in computers so decided to change my major.

Lets start this journey together and good luck to everyone.

I got an email from Erin at 11AM today (responding to one of my emails from this week):

"Thank you for your email. The reviewing committee is wrapping up their reviews and hope to have final decisions out early next week.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance."

Did this guy know Erin had already made phone calls for acceptance today? They may just be repeating what they have been saying the past 2 weeks to applicants that call.
I mentioned that a friend got a phone call today with an acceptance and he just said that was all the information he knew and that the two people making the decisions weren't in the office anymore as they were headed to a conference. He told me to call back Monday to get more information. Idk honestly, maybe they are just saying the same thing to people who call..sigh

Now we have to wait for Monday

I feel like at this point you're either accepted or waitlisted (for the SF campus)

5:30PM and still no word for me either... I am going crazy!

For the waitlisted people: I emailed Erin and she did the say waitlist is ranked. I read in previous threads that it wasn't ranked and they re-evaluated the waitlisted people based on the cohort but it is actually ranked. She said she couldn't tell me my rank or how many people were on the waitlist, unfortunately. Prayers for you all!

Here's to hoping we hear back Monday! :) also hope everyone has a good weekend and destresses a bit. No matter what happens tho, everything will work out in the end. Stay positive and have a great weekend!!

I feel the same way! So now we just have to wait and see what next week holds. I am so glad I am not alone in this - such a brutal process.

Just got an email telling me there was a status update to my application. Got waitlisted and says we'll find out in th next month about our status and that they can't tell us our rank or size of waitlist. Great, just great.

Wait I'm confused... did you get waitlisted for SF or OC?

@helloimkate OC campus! But just thought I would share what I'm finding out since it's applicable to both campuses :)

@warsh26 Oh ok! Thanks :)

Do y'all think that we're all waitlisted? It seems like a large number of people for being on the waitlist, considering that there are other potential applicants that could also be waitlisted. It's kind of scary :/ Or is there a chance that they're still going to do one more round of acceptances? Even that seems highly unlikely to me because then we'd have to wait until Monday and also so many people on the thread already got accepted. I mean hopefully there is one more round of acceptances...

This wait is just making me overthink everything :(
