luvinschoolnursing Nov 12, 2010 I had a child who started in 5th grade-10th grade that needed O2. She pushed an O2 tank around in front of her on a cart. A closet was buildt to hold the 02 tanks uprigight, and I changed her tank every 3-4 hours. The student's mom was responsible for keeping full tanks available. We put up a sign to inform the Fire Dept that there were 02 tanks in the room, as well as let them know in writing.I would think an 02 concentrator would be noisy in a classrooom. 0 Likes
