Hi guys! I am a BSN-trained RN currently in Washington D.C. I am finishing up my nurse residency and am looking into to immigrate to the United Kingdom, as my fiance lives there. I intend to move in a years time. Can anyone help me with this process? From what I can tell, there is the application for your visa which will be sponsored by who you get a job with. Then, there is registering with the NMC and taking the OSCE and CBT. I have the majority of the paperwork I need to begin the process. Which comes first? Did yall apply to jobs first, then apply to the NMC? Do both applications occur concurrently? if anyone can lay out the timeline they took to immigrate to the UK, that would be great.

NMC is your first step.  No position will look at you without your PIN. Have a search through the forums including the UK one for timelines.
