Urgent!! Need help with Adderall XR and Trazadone issues.

Published

Hello, I am new to this site. My name is Bryan, and I am from the state of New Jersey. I am currently enrolled in OCC pre-nursing program finishing up my pre-reqs. My issue right now is I need information on which meds I should take right now. I "was" prescribed with seroquel 400mg, and trazadone100 and 150mg(3 50's put together so they could be split up) my age is 20, and my weight is around 235. I currently am prescribed Adderall XR 15mg, and Lipitor 10mg. I take the Adderall in the morning around 7-9am and the Lipitor at night around 10-11pm. My question is which sleeping aid should I use? I have left over trazadone, and seroquel(even though its not meant for sleep, but made me sleepy when i took it) I am concerned if i take the seroquel that it might interact with the adderall that i have to take in the am tomorrow morning around 7am. Please help!! I have an oral presentation tomorrow and I need sleep, b/c if I dont sleep I get anxiety and when I get anxiety I start stuttering a lot LOL. Discuss please? Any professional advice would help?

No one here can or should answer this question for you. Most of us aren't qualified nor licensed to prescribe. What's more, even an MD should see you and speak to your before giving that kind of direction. If you can't speak with a doctor, MAYBE a pharmacist can help. Some are clinically trained, and allowed to provide some prescription guidance.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time. It is already late on the East Coast. Try a call to your prescribing pharmacy.

Good luck!

Ok thanks alot buddy, and I do not want you to prescribe me medication. I was once prescribed them and I have some left over. I talked with my friend in whos becoming a pharmacist and is a junior @ wvu and he told me that seroquel stays in your system for 2 days, and that it is prescribed for bipolar disorder. I currently have ADHD and im taking lipitor for my high cholestorol. And by you telling people that they "cant" or should not answer my question is obsurred. Please people who care just all I want to know is if trazadone will cause a chemical imbalance or I will have a reaction b/c the two drugs arent supposed 2 be taken together.

Only a pharmacist can tell you if the two meds will react with each other. When you joined this site, per the tos no solicitation of medical advise for yourself is allowed. What part of that didn't you understand? Did you think you could come to a message board and start getting random advise about meds you apparently don't even have a script for? Yeah, good luck with that...This thread will probably be closed soon...
