UPMC hiring process....

so i just want to know the full process of upmc hiring. applied to several jobs (pct, medical assistant, etc) because im a nursing student and want more experience. i really want to know how long did it take for a call? then what? can you call hr or nurse recruiter? how do i get in? it seems endless........:confused:

Try not to worry too much, UPMC takes a while to call back. It definitely helps to call the recruitors and HR people to get your name in and to see where your resume is. If you go to nursing school here in Pittsburgh, see if one of your advisors know any unit directors. Did you apply via their website?

yes i did apply to their website. problem is i dont know who to call. as far as recruiters or managers.

if you google "upmc nursing recruiter" you can find a list of names and numbers of nursing recruiters associated with each hospital. Personally, I found them to be not much help.
