I've been browsing the site, and don't see very recent info on the best way to study for the TEAS. Some people seem to think the current price of $115 for the ATI package is worth it, others, not so much. I found one article online stating the ONLY way to go is the pricey ATI deal...I'd love some updated input. Thank you!

All I studied was the ATI teas study guide book and practice tests ($30-40 for that book) and some free iPhone apps that provide teas type practice questions. I studied my weakest areas about 3 weeks before the exam. And then reviewed everything and took the practice tests starting a couple days before the exam.
there will not be anything on the exam isn't in the ATI teas v study guide/practice exams.
I got about 85% on the study guides' test. Usually in the 90s on the free iPhone apps/practice tests. And ended up getting 89.3% on my teas!
i almost bought the expensive deal and am so glad I didn't because the book gives you EVERYTHING you need! And I think there's enough free resources out there to pair with the book, that the package is unnecessary.
I guess a disclaimer is that once I started going through the study guide, I felt pretty confident with my knowledge. If you are really struggling with the material than it would probably be good idea to explore further resources.

Thread moved to TEAS forum.
I'm glad you mentioned being so comfortable with the material beforehand...I'm not sure I'm in that camp. I've come back to school for a second degree after 25 years, and will be taking my second Anatomy and will not have Medical Microbiology yet. So I'm thinking, based on what you and some others have said, I'll get the whole kit, and the McGraw hill resource someone said was very thorough in explaining things, and the book about secrets of the Teas from Amazon. Just go whole hog and study hard for a couple months, a bit at time.
Again, thank you for your time,

Hi Allison,
I'm currently studying for my TEAS, in which I'm taking on September 5 (wish me luck, I'm preparing for my impending doom), and I'm using the official TEAS study guide which I bought at Amazon for about $25 I think. It's new with no writing on it (thank God!) I also bought the McGraw-Hill 5 Practice Test in which I'll be using every weekend as a way for me to test what I've learned in one week's studying.
Inform me again with what's included in the ATI package? My adviser suggested for me to buy the 2 online TEAS practice exams for about $100 for both... yeah no. I've found other useful sites where they have mock TEAS exams. They're a bit easier I suppose, but any practice is good practice, right?
Here are some mock TEAS testing links. Good luck!
