Update on Low GPA Wanting to take the Accelerated BSN Program

Published

Hello,

'

This is Stephanie and I did the post about my low GPA and wanting to do the Acclerated BSN Program, well I went to GMU and basically I do not qualify for the Accelerated BSN program but can qulaify for the Traditional Nursing Track whic will take me 2 years. I think that is best, but my quetion is that I don;t want to just focus on one school I want to aply to other schools but other schools want different pre-reqs, that 's where my confusion kicks in. Not sure what to do . Any suggestions are helpful.

Thank You

Start the common pre req's.

Start narrowing down your choices by other factors: cost, financial aid, travel time/housing, NCLEX pass rates, go visit and attend open houses, in state or out of state?

As time moves on, you will find the answrrs fall into place IF you're looking.

No way I have no suggestions. I think u, me,& every1 else who gets accepted into a program is lucky. I was in the same boat u were 2yrs ago when I found out allthese schools had diff. prereqs. I had an excel wkst 2 graph them, but then it got 2b :bugeyes:too too too much work, research, &confusing. No I didn't settle for the first nursing school that I got into (if that's what ur thinking). I just started applying to different programs that had the best reputation and NCLEX results.
