Hi! I received an unofficial job offer from the Clinical Leader of the cardiology unit I interviewed for and she said that I should be expecting an offer from the HR department very soon. It's been 3 days and I haven't heard anything from HR yet =/
I just got a call today from another hospital offering me Midnights on a Med/Surg floor, but it's only part-time. The job in the cardiology unit would be full-time position on midnights - and so I'm leaning more towards the full-time position, and I really did like the cardiology unit when I went there - I'm not really sure what to expect on the Med/Surg floors. I told hospital #2 that I would need the weekend to think about it, with hopes that I'll hear back from hospital #1 before then.
Should I email the clinical leader in hospital #1 saying I haven't heard back from HR yet? Or asking how long does it usually take before HR will get in contact with me? Or should I just go ahead and contact HR regarding my application status?

Call HR and ask... For my transfer it took almost 3 weeks to get the final official offer from the time of my second interview.... Call them and find out what's going on
So I called HR and they're only open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday... I guess I'll call first thing Monday morning! I also emailed the clinical leader - hopefully I'll get a response soon!
just wanted to update that I FINALLY received the OFFICIAL job offer :) I was also offered a part-time position at the same hospital for the CDU and I bugged the recruiter for the CDU to also contact the recruiter for the cardiology unit because i hadn't heard from him (she was very understanding since the cardiology unit was a full-time position). And then I called the recruiter and left a voice message. So he heard from both her and me and finally called me today and gave me the offer :) YAY!!! I'm so excited
