Hi, I just got offered an interview at University of South Carolina. I was wondering if anyone has been through the interview process and could give me some feedback on what it is like? Any idea on how many are interviewed and how many are accepted. Any current students have advice? Do you like the program?
Thanks!

I interviewed back in December... Is this an interview for this years program or next year? I was wait listed for this year.... So im just curious why they are still interviewing...?
As for the interview process, it's pretty easy processes. You'll first meet with some current students to chat and ask questions, you then take a 20 question test very similar to ccrn questions. You'll then meet with the program's directors and they'll ask you normal interview questions and then they throw in a few critical care questions.
All in all not terrible. I'm pretty sure I got wait listed because I didn't do well on the test... I just didn't put the study time in that I should have.
They usually interview 50-60 people and accept 30ish.
Did you interview with the medical university of South Carolina? They apply and interview in the fall/winter.
I haven't heard anything yet but my application status says decision pending so I have my fingers crossed. I interviewed a few years back and it lasts all day. Two thirty minute interviews with two panels. Mine was a mixture of personal/clinical questions. I'm interviewing next week in Florida. Although South Carolina is my first choice since my family is there.
Oh right... There are other schools in SC. I applied to MUSC, and it appears the OP applied to USC. 2 different schools. Makes sense. Never mind I'm not helpful, sorry! [emoji16]
