Hi everyone. I couldn't find a topic for it, so I apologize if there is one already, but I just wanted to see who was applying for U of R's May 2013 accelerated nursing program. I got the call today for an interview for December. I graduated from Stony Brook in 2008 with a 3.6 GPA but my overall from transferring schools is a 3.4 (not great, I know). After this semester it should be about a 3.5 (currently taking Bio and Nutrition at Nassau Community College on Long Island). I found out last week that I got into NYU, but I'm not sure if I really want to spend $84k on the degree. U of R is expensive as well, but not quiet as expensive.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello to anyone else who is hoping to get into U of R, perhaps discuss statistics, experience, etc.

Hi! I couldn't find a thread for May 2013 either! I have been accepted to the May Abpnn program and am hoping to meet more people interested in this program as well.

Hey! I actually just commented on another thread about the May 2013 cohort. https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-student/university-rochester-may-817046.html#post7190469
Excited to meet everyone that got in!

Did any of you apply to other local ABSN programs? I liked the U of R program, but it's so expensive and I was already accepted to the Brockport ABSN so I'm going with that one... did anyone else apply to both of these programs?

Hey Mindylane...didn't see anything later. Did you decide upon U of R?
