University of Rochester ABPNN Summer 2012

Hey everyone,
I can't find a thread for URoch Summer '12 so I figured I'd start one so I can quit posting on the Spring '12 board!
Anyone have any updates on when we'll be hearing decisions? When I interviewed, she said they were going to try for December. The wait is killing me!

that's what she told me too when I had my interview. did you have 2 interviews or just one? when i had my interview scheduled, i was told there would be 2 interviews. but when i had my 1st interviewed and asked when i would hear about the 2nd one, the interviewer told me she was doing both at once. and that should would forward my information to admissions team, and if they wanted more information, they would contact me again. other than that, she said i would get a decision by January.

I just had one. I never heard anything about there being 2 interviews! lol

Hi everyone!

When I had my interview in November the lady said they would probably send out decisions in January...so I've been checking my mail like crazy haha. Good luck to you all! Where else did you guys apply? I applied to Binghamton's program and got in, and it's definitely a top choice because of the SUNY tuition, but UR has a great reputation so I hope I get in!

Have any of you heard anything yet? I got a phone call from someone in admissions, I was accepted! But still have yet to get my acceptance letter in the mail, which is very frustrating because apparently we need to make a decision by Feb. 3rd. Good luck to all!

I think this thread is for the May 2012 start date. If it is...I got the phone call I was admitted today as well! I am super excited. I was told the same thing about having to respond by February 3rd with our deposit.

Hello!

I just got a phone call yesterday afternoon that I was accepted, and I decided to see if there was a thread on this site and I'm so glad I found it!! I was overexcited when I heard the news so I failed to ask important questions like ones you guys obviously asked, like when we have to respond by and such. I'm really excited, and glad we're all in this together and can help each other answer questions.

Hi Everyone!

I am so happy I found this thread! I was accepted a little while back for the Summer 2012 start of the ABPNN. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! I was just now realizing I need to find somewhere to live for the upcoming year! I would really like to live off-campus in an apartment with maybe two other classmates in the program. I think it would be nice to be able to make some friends early on, and have people around who will have the same "life" as me for the next year. I'm not from Rochester (I'm from Binghamton-3 hours south!), so I am a little uneasy about randomly choosing a place. Does anyone have any suggestions for landlords or a particular area in Rochester to live? Also, is anyone interested in splitting an apartment? It would be nice to save a little bit of money and at the same time have some roomates! Congrats again everyone :)
