Members are discussing the delay in receiving interview invitations for a CRNA program due to the school waiting for accreditation. Some members did not receive emails about the interview timeline, while others shared updates from admissions about the interview scheduling process. There is anticipation and hope for good news regarding interview calls and accreditation in the coming days.
Hey everyone! Thought I would start a thread for UNLVs new program!
They'll most likely get accredited and want to keep in the loop 🙂

This is what I got from them:
The UNLV CRNA Program is constructed under two phases. During phase I (five semesters) you'll take a combination of on-campus and on-line courses, including two simulation courses. Only the first semester is entirely online and you'll still need to come to the UNLV campus for some hands-on portions of the Advanced Health Assessment class (approximately two days). During Phase II (four semesters) you will be scheduled for approximately three-four clinical sites in the Las Vegas area to do your clinical training. Your clinical schedule will be set up to assure you receive all the required case experiences over those four semesters. Clinical supervision is 1:1 initially, and depending on your location and your performance, may go to 2:1 (two students to one CRNA/MD supervisor).
