University of Miami or Florida International University for Nursing?

Let me start off by saying that I have a bachelors in psychology. I want to return to school to get my BSN. I have the majority of the prereqs completed, I need to take microbiology with lab and chemistry with lab. My question here is... What University has the best nursing program in your opinion. I applied to both UM and FIU, I am waiting to see if I got accepted. My overall GPA is a 3.8. I would love to attend UM but I know the student debt is high. Is it worth it to attend UM regardless of the student debt? I care about getting a good education. I know the scholarship to pay off the student loans is offered to nursing students but it is very competitive.

My fear is getting accepted to UM and not getting the scholarship and ending up paying over 120k in loans. I know that FIU has a small nursing program and the acceptance is limited.

How long did it take you guys to pay of your student debt?

Right now I don't have a job and so I will have to take out a huge loan to attend either universities. I would like to hear everyone's opinions about the program, I would really appreciate it.

Honestly both programs are great but FIU is better because of the cost. I know a person who graduated from UM 15 years ago and still has huge debt. NOVA and Barry are other options.
