University of Memphis Spring 2018

I have applied to UofM. I will lack 2 prerequisites after Fall. Does anyone know how the process goes with finishing up prereq's and moving on to the Nursing. Is that two different applications? I'm at Union now and based on their curriculum I would be missing 3 electives and the Act. My options were to take electives somewhere else,test out on Dantes or take them in the Spring but be charged the nursing program price which is almost $600 per credit hour. So I'm definitely transferring.

That's a lot of money! Well I know in order to apply for the Nursing program at UofM you do have to be accepted to UofM then also apply for the nursing program. So ya it would be two separate application the Nursing Application for Spring of 2018 is due October 1st. Which two pre reqs will you be missing?

I have been accepted to the school and I did my nursing app last week. I will lack nutrition and 1or2 humanities. Have you heard anything about your application?

Hey Sorry its been so long! I talked to someone the other day from the nursing school. They said it could more towards the end of october before we hear anything. I also heard from someone else that it could take as long as till the end of November!

I tried calling 3 times yesterday and couldn't get an answer. I wonder does that mean there was alot of applicants? I see recent high school students have been receiving theirs since September. I just wish we could get a definite time frame so I could stop checking 1,000 times a day lol.

Hello everyone, I also applied to LCON for Spring 2018. Glad I have found this group bc I am going crazy trying to figure out when they will be sending out letters.!! I too am curious to know the cutoff GPA for this semester. What are you guys GPAs.??

@ HFavored1 I know RIGHT! I went to a seminar.. you could say... Everyone really just asked questions about the program. Last semester ( the class for this fall semester that started) it took them quite longer than they expected, but they mentioned that they were hopefully going to let everyone know if they got into the spring semester by the end of October. But then again this past March or April when this happened. You can always e-mail them at [email protected] . @Jailinjenk I have been contemplating on e-mailing them to see if I could get a time frame from them because if you do get in there is so much you have to get and do before the spring starts, so I would like to know whether or not I need to start getting things done. But as far as GPA... my overall is 3.5 my pre-req sciences are 3.0.

I emailed like a month ago and I never got a response. Will they have another seminar anytime soon that you know of?
