I'll be applying to this school as a transfer student from SWTCC.
UofM lists their pre reqs for the BSN program as A&P Iⅈ Eng Iⅈ Psych; Micro; Nutrition; Math.
I will have all of these done by the time I apply.
I was just wondering, will this be all as far as gen ed goes? Will I really only have nursing courses to complete? Or will I need additional GenEd reqs in order to graduate with my bachelors?
THANKS!!
Well, I called the college and got the answer! Hopefully this will help any one else looking for the same information! The head of the BSN program says they prefer you to have all your gen ed requirements done with by the time you start nursing school (which I will). But the rule is that you must have them all done before your fourth semester (of the nursing program). I suppose someone could take a few gen eds every summer while in nursing school, but man that would suck! :)

Yes they called me to apply for the spring but I'm missing one gen ed. The advisor informed I could take it in the summer.

How many credits do they require to transfer directly into the BSN program?
You have to have Eng I/II, A&P I/II, Micro, Nutrition, Math, Psyc OR Soc to be accepted directly into the nursing program BUT you have to have ALL Gen ED requirements completed by the 4th semester of nursing school in order to continue.
