University of Alberta - After Degree Program 2017

Hi everyone!

I figured I would start up a thread for those applying/planning to apply to the University of Alberta After Degree program for Fall 2017 admission.

My plan is to apply in January once I have started Medical Microbiology at MacEwan. I'm currently taking BIOL 235 (Anatomy and Physiology) through Athabasca University.

When is everyone else planning on sending in their application?

I am going to apply in Jan/Feb as well. I am taking my Medical Microbiology now through U of A, and will be starting BIOL 235 in January. Fingers crossed to all, sounds like the program is gaining popularity!

Thanks for starting the thread! I've applied already and I'm taking a few courses through Athabasca to bump up my GPA. I should be starting BIOL 235 in December. Good luck everyone!

Out of curiosity, what's everyone's background? I graduated in 2014 with a BSc. in Microbiology

I graduated in June '16 with a BA (Psych major, Ling minor).

Good luck to those starting BIOL 235 soon! I'm about 2/3 of the way through, and it's a monster of a course!

Hi there! I just sent my transcripts in for the u alberta after degree nursing! Have a Bsc in biology from ubc okanagan graduated june 2016! Hoping to meet future classmates!
