OK so it's 2013-2014 news students-I'm assuming has enrolled. Can any current students tell me their experience while still attending the LPN program. Knowing that a school can't stay open with all these horrible reviews they can't all be true. I might be enrolling on September 29th but I wanna know updated thoughts and reasonable feelings

Hi! I attended UTI in September of 2013 and I was there till December 2013. I completed my A&P with them however things went bad and i decided to drop out before it was too late. Let me start off by saying that PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS on UTI in Perth Amboy. When I first started I didn't know so much of the school I went with there graduation rate and decided to try it out on my own. Bad choice, let me start by saying that the staff in there are very unprofessional and rude. Their constantly firing staff and rehiring staff, teachers and staff mess up on your grades and their very disorganize. I had Mr.Andrew as a teacher and he was GREAT!!! and taught me somethings that have still stuck with me and have helped me in the future. I left the school because they didn't know what they were doing and i was frustrated with the changes of teachers and also the yelling at students for no reason? were all adults treat as with respect don't treat us like children. If i was you i would not go there, assuming all these bad reviews you have read. Please take into consideration. I am now enrolled at MCC and I'm currently taking my remedial classes to get into their RN program. Take my advice and run, your better off somewhere else. Hope this works and good luck hun...

Im CURRENTLY a student at UTI and I'm doing fine. I'm currently in Pediatrics and I'm graduating in November. I feel like a lot of the people that complain are the ones not capable of passing. I also had a few instructors but that also happened in another school I went to. As long as I was taught what I need to know I was fine. Uti is a great school. I have not had any of the staff yell at me. I definitely think you should go take a tour of the school. Hope this review helps because I've seen a lot of false reviews. I also did research and I knew the school wouldn't still be opened accredited and have financial aid if it was that bad.

Run for your life.Universal Training Institute is one of the worst school in NJ Perth amboy.when you register for classes make sure u look in their contract.the staff is very unproffesional.they are using ATI which suppose to be a supplement but no is 25 percent of your grade.most people fail in medsurge class.the office is not happy when every student pass they call the teacher and ask him why u did not fail that student.even you pass they still fail you.that school should be close already.also if you can kiss the teacher ads maybe they will pass you or if they don't like your face there is no way u can make it through the program.please read the reviews before u go yo that school is a waste of time

As someone who graduates from this school this upcoming December I'd say they did their job well perfect no but who is there are flaws anywhere however searching for a school than genuinely cares not only about you being a full time lpn but they care about the quality of care you will provide each and every one of your patients in so saying I will say this if you are not fully committed you won't make it by no ones fault but your own but if you put in the time stick to your books and really seriously pay attention in time it becomes as second nature and while your here yes you will hate your teachers and everyone involved why because the work is extremely hard but nothing worth having is easy to attain and in the end you will agree with me when I say that this school does all they can to ensure not only that you pass nclex but that you will be safe and caring as a nurse that is my take on it instructors are there and though ati is dreadful if you are proficient in leveling I'm sure you will find nclex easy as can be no complaints about this school I am grateful for the moments and times constantly that they have pushed me and my knowledge base

I'm a former student of UTI, who completed the program and has successfully passed the NCLEX. UTI fully prepared me for a career as a nurse. Yes the program is hard, and the work is tough, but that's what nursing school is. All nursing programs are tough. But what you get out of UTI is what you put into it. The staff has always been helpful and attentive, the teachers are more than willing to help their students, and the overall environment is like a family. ATI is no different from HESI. It's a program that is designed to aide in your education as a nursing student. You will constantly be challenged in your knowledge, not only in nursing school but in your career as well. I'm confident in how well UTI has guided me in my education.
