Hello all!
Although I am located in CO, and will apply to a school or two here, I've located UNC Chapel Hill as the school I'll apply to out of state for an Accelerated BSN degree (sorry carolinapooh, just can't swing Duke! ).
My wife would like to move back east, and I can only sell myself on doing so if I have a school to attend.
I have a quick question about their admission requirements. I did look over the website and send an e-mail to their admissions office, but on the outside chance they do not reply, thought it wise to open it up here.
By the end of December 2006, I will have taken all of the pre-req courses they require to be considered. However, some of these pre-reqs were taken deep in my first degree and are thus a little old. Grades are fine, but they are dated (Psychology 101 for instance). Does anyone know if there is a time limit for UNC Chapel Hill with respect to when pre-reqs were completed? Is it open? Do they have to be taken within 3 years of application, 5 years of application, 10 years of application, etc...?
Thanks in advance. I won't have an opportunity to attend an information session should I apply, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
For posterity, here is the reply I received from a very courteous person in the admissions office at UNC Chapel Hill:
"We do not "time-out" courses, meaning, it does not matter how long it has been since you've taken the course, we will still accept them. You will want to do a "self evaluation" to see how much of the material you remember."
Looks like I'll get to apply after all.

:balloons: Great news :balloons: Thanks for letting us know about UNC-SON's "time-out" policy. I'm sure this information will be of benefit to others :)

UNC is an excellent school! Good choice! Don't worry - I just paid my tuition bill about three weeks ago and am already feeling edgy about the next one, which will come in about four weeks by my figuring....eeeewwww...
