One student who has a Bachelors in Biology got an 82.
You know something is fishy if I have the highest grade in the class...I am having flashbacks of my Bio'Chem class last semester. ( I also had the highest grade, which was the only B in the end) What the heck is wrong at that college??????
My instructor actually returned my call yesterday and I told him what i thought of his test. He curved the test and added 10 points....boy that saved my butt.
I also had the lab test today. It was also hard as can be.....60 questions. We had to walk to different stations and solve problems. More of the same stuff basically. One of the bonus exercises was to recognize the compound ethanol which he constructed of the modelkit, I got it right and he was so impressed. I need to thank the wonderful people who helped me with the isotonic, hypotonic, hypertonic post the other day. I got the answers right that dealt with this particular subject. One problem was very involved and took up 3 questions on the scantron. I still think that he is a lousy teacher, and hope that I can keep my head above water. I would so much love to make and A but it looks like it will be out of reach in this class with this prof. Who knows I migth be able to crack the code on that one!
I was very miserable yesterday all day long from stressing about him and the test. The kids are out early today and I will take a little nap this afternoon to re-energize.
Luv Y'all  st.pauligirl

Sorry, I made a mistake this post needs to be moved to the pre-nursing student forum....I guess I am becoming as feebleminded as my professor, it's contagious!!!!

That stuff makes up my loose connective tissue (blood), hmmm.....one of Dr. Crackerjack's lab questions.....If your RBC bathe in it would they be hyper- or hypotonic? Would the RBC shrivel or explode???
(I was born close to the town Bremen where they make that beer and then export it here to our wonderful grocery store H.E.B. in the US)
Y'all have a wonderful day.
Sincerely yours,
