UNBC NP 2022

Published

Hi!

I am wondering if there is any UNBC NP applicant for 2022?

Thanks for starting this thread! Any idea how many applicants did they receive this year? I heard from one of their program coordinators that there were about 60something applicants last year. They do add a lot of applicants on their waitlist as well. Hoping to hear from them soon.

I applied. I was waitlisted last year. Applied again for ubc and unbc this year.

They usually don't get back to you until April but you don't have to do an interview.

I have no idea about how many applicants this year ? Someone said UNBC only offers 20 seats and only 12 are full-time seats… So, what we can do now is to wait until April ? Anyway, hope we will get into the program together ?

I just received an email from UNBC said I was placed on the waitlist

So, they started to send out admission decision?! ??

Yea they have. “Initial offers of admission to the program have been issued and we are awaiting responses from these applicants. Based on the outcome, further places could become available. We will notify you if there is a change to your admission status within the program.”

My apologies as I just realized that I put a weird smile at the end of my last reply and I don't know how to delete it. I meant for a big, kind and encouraging one!!

does anyone know the difference between part time/ full time? and if you were waitlisted, which # you are on the waitlist?

Full time is a 2-year program and part-time is a 3-year program. Full time students take 2 courses per semester and part time students take 1-2 courses per semester. There is a final year independent project. Hope this helps.
