Umass Boston BSN Fall/2019

Published

Since there was no previous thread about this subject, I am posting this to see if anyone else has applied for the Fall/2019. If so, have you already heard anything? Thanks!

Following, almost done with my app essay. Applying as a transfer student. Does anyone know how competitive the program is for transfers?

I have no clue I applied back in November, for Fall 2019. Hoping to hear back soon! I didn't do great on my TEAS so I'm kind of nervous. Also spoke to an admissions rep for transfers and he said its a long process because you have to go through admissions and the nursing program heads. Good luck! :)

I sent all my documents in and now I’m just waiting as well. This is a competitive program, but I was told they look at everything in order to make a decision, not just the TEAS.

Thank you for the information ?Hopefully! Because my everything else is good but my TEAS lol! Hopefully everyone gets to hear back soon. Goodluck! I’ll post if I hear anything or my status on the admissions tab changes?

Same here. I just checked my status again yesterday an it's now 100% complete. I guess I just have to wait and see what happens. Good luck to everyone applying ?

Waiting here too for fall 2019 transfer nursing program at UMB. I applied in the fall as well so it's been a long wait. I am transferring from mass bay cc and am a nursing assistant at a hospital. Does anyone know how competitive the admissions process is for transfer, how many spots are available?

Waiting too. What is everyone’s admission status? Mine changed to “thank you for applying to UMB. The office of admissions will review your application upon receiving all required documents”

Does anyone know the TEAS score they are looking for?

For TEAS I believe it has to be proficient and above, I think 58% and over if I’m not mistaken.

@Mfed94mine also says the same. I hope we all hear from them soon. Long time waiting for their answer.

Hey all, I just called admissions and they told me that decision letters will be send out by April... oh well.
