Anyone go to either of these schools? Is it hard to get into? What about clinicals??? I'm currently going to Heartland Community College and trying to decide if I should get my ADN and then transfer to either of these schools or do the BSN from the beginning. I need HELP!

i went to uic cu site. i LOVED it!!! i say, if you're super tight on money, get your adn then work @ hospital that will pay for you to continue & get your bsn. but if you're willing to take out student loans etc... go to uofi. i joined the military before college so i got all of it paid.
it is very competitive to get into this program. & they don't take too many transfer students for the junior/senior level bsn program. if you get good grades as an adn you should be fine getting in the bsn completion program (most of it's online). To go straight through to bsn you have to take your first 2 yrs of pre-reqs at any college (although they only take a small handful of non- uofi students). then, you apply for the nursing program which is a junior/senior level program.
clinicals are mainly done in the cu area (beats traffic for the chi campus site). you'll prob have at least one clinical that is 30-45min away. no biggie. good luck. i've hear ISUs nursing program is good too.
